YSP is distinctively structured to help student-athletes begin the process of maximizing their full human potential. Every student-athlete will not play professional sports, and it is imperative for the select few who do enjoy long professional careers, to understand that period of time is very small in retrospect to one's entire life.

Additionally, YSP will help student-athletes understand sports is also a vehicle to help leverage their experience into several other professional careers and opportunities through mentorships, career days, and various other workshops and events.
